MEET KIM DUARTE

A Highly Intuitive, Highly Sensitive, Empathic Being Kim’s life path has immersed her in an intensive learning experience in the themes of death and rebirth. 

In our community, Kim brings her highly empathic, Jaguar Medicine in the form of Grief Work.

Kim is a trained Death Educator as well as a natural Death and Grief Doula using her intuitive abilities to guide her clients through the experience of processing big emotions.  

The experience of being present with grief can be intense.  So, Kim understands that what may show up in a grief session can be difficult and will help guide you through that experience.

The Grief Session is a Sacred Space for curiosity and expansiveness. The purpose of this session is to create a supportive, safe and regenerative space. 

During the session, Kim will provide you with a mindful way of connecting, expressing and releasing the big emotions that come with witnessing and processing grief.  This space offers us a gentle cocoon where we can experience transformation, acceptance, and healing.

Kim intention for this session is to allow your feelings of loss, grief and sadness to find a place at the table. As we honor these emotions, we make way for something new to emerge. 

Kim provides a space for imaginative acceptance and healing that is not easily accessible without someone to sit and witness with us. She creates a vast container to hold our grief in love and compassion. 

Kim is a longtime student of Buddhism, including the Tibertan Book of the Dead.  In addition, she is a student of the dimensions that the Soul passes through on its journey through life and death. 

Please Note:   Kim's sessions are not therapy session but a peer to peer container.

Kim is a lover of Earth Medicine, Earth Connection, insects, spiders and snakes. She also loves skulls, animals and plants, particularly the plants that she tends in her garden.  

She lives with her son and her husband in New Mexico

Kim is also an Alumna of Circle II of The Journey of a Healer.   Graduation date: August 2020 as well as a graduate of the Level II and Level III Apprenticeship Program at The Temple of the Goddess.

We are so grateful to have the presence of her sacred essence, her unique perspective, deep medicine and wisdom about grief, death and rebirth in The Temple of the Goddess as an alumna, practitioner and member of the Sacred Counil.
